Gandaki University, AWS Cloud Readiness

This programme at Gandaki University covered cloud readiness end to end: what the cloud actually changes about how systems are built and paid for, the AWS global infrastructure the services sit on, and the core service families a working architect reaches for first.

From there it moved onto the Solutions Architect Associate material, which is where the reasoning starts to matter more than the service list. Designing across availability zones so that a single failure is survivable, choosing compute and storage against the assumptions each option makes, identity and access management as the foundation rather than a final step, and the cost consequences that follow from architectural decisions long after they are made.

The readiness framing is deliberate. Certification is a useful target because it forces the material to be covered properly, but the point is that students leave able to justify a design rather than recall a syllabus.
