AWS Cloud Innovation Day - Mahendranagar

This Cloud Innovation Day ran over two days in Mahendranagar, in the far-west of the country — among the furthest points from Kathmandu that OCU Academy has taken a workshop.

The two-day format allows the material to go beyond an introduction. Cloud concepts, the AWS global infrastructure and the core service families are covered on the first day; the second builds on them with more service depth, architectural trade-offs and hands-on work, so participants leave having used what was described rather than only having heard it.

Distance is the reason this matters. A student in Mahendranagar has the same certification paths open to them as anyone else, but almost none of the industry contact — and that gap is a matter of geography rather than ability.
